What is the process one must undertake to become one, and what are does a mod do exactly besides help players, silence some problems, and watch over global chats?

Effects?
In Battle, why is Healing Potions and other research that we know would have some effect on the outcome; not compensated for?
Wouldn't 7,000 archers be more succesful in attacking if they had a Healing Potion of 8,etc.?
Why would you need to send more supply troops, if you can carry much more with Featherweight?
It seems strange that no one has yet taken this into consideration, unless of course it actually has no purpose.

Which one is faster?
Is it faster just to increase the number of buildings and troops before upgrading your castle,walls, etc.?
