The Knights' Hall is where you hire new Knights, assign or un-assign roles of your Knights, and raise your Knights' skills.
The Knights' Hall upgrades increases the experience gained by your Knights each hour. Appointing Knights early is helpful in bonuses to your 4 areas Knights affect: Your Marshall affects the speed of training troops. Your Steward affects the rate of resource awards. Your Alchemystic affects the rate at which your research is trained and your Foreman affects your construction speed. The higher level your Knights become the more gold they need per hour. Do not forget to appoint as least one Knight as "idle" so that you may use them for attacks. The only thing the Loyalty is used for is to help find more crests. If your knights Loyalty is 100 then you have a 5% bonus rate at finding crests.
