Clarent, pronounced (cluh-rent), is the sword in the stone which Arthur pulled free to become King of Britain, not to be mistaken with Excalibur.
Clarent then became the sword of peace meant for knighting and ceremonies as opposed to battle.
Later the sword is stolen and then used by Mordred (Arthur's illegitimate son) to kill King Arthur.
Clarent is also the name of one of the domains in Kingdoms of Camelot.
